Our Key Roles
The Activity Manager
Your Activity Manager is your initial point of contact and will be able to provide advice on the strategic fit of your project. They will also designate a Developer, Deliverer and Appraiser to take your project forward.
The Developer
Your Developer will take your project through the initial stages of development planning through to approval.
The Deliverer
Your Deliverer will be there to help you with your project following approval. They will offer advice through delivery, closure and final evaluation.
The Appraiser
You won’t have direct contact with your Appraiser but they are there to ensure that our internal team have independent advice during the appraisal of your project.
The Head of Team (HoT) Panel
We have created three Panels based on the Priorities of Business, People and Place, and a fourth Panel to consider European funding programmes. The HoT Panel can generally approve projects up to the value of £1.5 million although there are slightly different arrangements for projects part funded by ERDF or RDPE.
The Panels include a relevant Strategy, Delivery and independent Head of Team. The level of investment is set by the Panel and this will determine who has the authority to approve your project.
CPRG
The Central Project Review Group (CPRG) reviews appraisals of all projects that are over the financial delegation limit of English Partnerships, Regional Development Agencies and the Sustainable Communities Programmes. For our purposes the limit is generally £10m and above, although there are slightly different arrangements for projects part funded by ERDF or RDPE.
