Session timeout - When using the application system, your application will be considered inactive if you have not saved your changes for 15 minutes. A warning will be displayed on screen to indicate that this is the case. Your session will then timeout after a further 5 minutes of inactivity. To ensure you do not lose any information from your application, please ensure that you save your application regularly.
Guidance notes - Before commmencing your application, we recommend that you download the Guidance Notes. You should refer to the Guidance Notes - which can be accessed at all times from the links at the top of the screen - throughout the course of filling in your application.
Some fields within the application form are mandatory outright, such fields are marked with *. In other sections, it is necessary to input information into at least one field within the section, although no single field in particular is mandatory. In such sections, until you have added information into at least one field, you will not receive a 'green tick' for this section. Where you do not wish to input any information for a section, tick the box that states 'I do not wish to provide information in this area '.
It is advisable that when copying and pasting text from word processing packages that the text is first pasted into a plain text editor, such as Notepad, to remove any unnecessary formatting.
